Ahmed's journey started first at NASA Ames research Centre in a 3D real-time system for airports, then he joined IBM Egypt as a developer and team leader and worked there about 5 years. During that time he went on assignment to IBM NY TJ Watson lab for almost a year then on another assignment to SBM (IBM SA at that time) for almost 2 years. He then transferred his contract to SBM itself as a solution architect. He stayed in SBM for 15 years and worked on giant projects in multiple domains. His last role was the manager of Architecture Unit and Leader for Digital transformation handling Digital Transformation initiatives and projects for several government entities, banks, and smart cities. As well he was handling SBM major strategic transformation for adoption of innovation and new technologies.
Ahmed’s a holder of masters degree in Computer Science from Illinois and a graduate diploma in innovation and design thinking from MIT and Columbia University.
In his spare time he enjoys reading , swimming and for sure taking care of his big family and teenagers is a no brainer , that we can say it is something he enjoys..
